The children who come to The Rainbow House have been born into poverty and neglect. They don’t have the privileges most children experience. This spring Open Hands will open 'The Rainbow House', an education center for impoverished and neglected children in Romania.
Poverty can be grey and hopeless. We chose the name Rainbow House because we want this house to be a sign of hope. We want the colours of the rainbow to brighten children’s lives. The Rainbow House will be a safe haven for traumatised and neglected children, a warm and healthy learning environment for children between 0-16 years. Children will be able to play and receive support with their school work here. We are looking forward to starting our first group in April.
We are currently in need of toys and educational materials for the Rainbow House. If you would like to support this project please click here to view our Amazon Wish List or make a secure donation on our website.
